Time to get real

On 14th Jan 2009 I proudly updated my ticker to show a 3 pound weight loss.

On getting back from Portugal I soon discovered that I was back to 13.5 stone.

Well I just weighed myself again and still 13.5 stone. So the scales don't lie, but for the last few days my ticker has been so I sadly just updated it to reflect the fact that I once again have 42 pounds to lose and am once again up at 189 pounds.

I didn't take Super Greens with me to Portugal and have not drunk them since I returned, so I am now off to the cupboard to dig them out and drink a gallon :-) as the days I lost that weight, I WAS drinking my greens. When something is working, you don't stop doing it, unless you are as stupid as me.

So target for 2009 was to lose weight, and here I am 25th Jan, at the same weight I was at Xmas.

I need a big fat kick up the bum.

Bye for now,
Liska Life :-(

Liska, consider your bum kicked! Glad I was able to remind you about the benefits of no flour, no sugar. I really think we can do this, remember we did not gain the extra weight overnight and we can't expect to lose it overnight, either. Let's stay on track and 2009 will be a great year for us. Take care, Susan

I know you can do it. You have to believe that you can do it.3 pounds that's great I seem to only get 1 per week but 1 off not 1 on is great. Keep up the hard work it will be worth it. Remember it doesdn't taste as good as skinny feels.

oh I know the feeling - two steps forward and one step back it seems like. I lost weight as well and then gained and am stuck there too so I can relate. I also seem to stick with things I know that work and its hard to move on from that mentality. hang in there though, and have faith that your hard work will pay off and youll soon be back down again.

Hey, at least you enjoyed your holiday and nice food to tickle your tastebuds...

It's super hard to stick to a plan when you're on holiday. On the positive side, you probably prevented yourself from gaining an extra 3 pounds on holiday and being higher than where you started! You know how to get started again so don't be too hard on yourself.

Thanks so so so much guys for the comments above. They mean the world, and at my weak points today, the support and points above really kept me going. Victor, I loved every meal you cooked. I think the main culprit was me leaving my greens behind me, but I am back on them now, and Metro15, you are so right, at least the net effect of the -3 and +3 was zero and not an overall gain :-)
