Emotion and weight loss

I am not going to write anything, as I have been stunned into silence by the eloquence of Holly ALP's post today, over at My Peace.

She talks about visiting memory lane, as if it is a place (hence the photo above). I can really relate to that as I often reflect on my biggest times and my slimmest times.

Holly take the floor...... over to you...... folks, read here.

btw, out of all the images I could have chosen, I chose this one, for a few reasons:
1) there is a light at the end of the tunnel (how appropriate for weight loss
2) the photo is very green - greens are good for weight loss and for staying alkaline (acidity encourages weight gain)
3) The path is uneven and takes a surprising turn at the end - how apt. That turn is probably when we get to the last 10 pounds that are somehow out of sight...
4) There are shadows on the path, that can represent our shadow self (i.e. our dark side that contains the greed that leads to the compulsive eating we fight so hard to resist).

Anyway, I better stop now :-) as I think I could analyse that photo for the rest of the day and even do a dissertation on it - LOL

Bye for now, Liska x

Awww - thank you for the props Liska! You're awesome. I signed on after putting down a bag of chocolate graham crackers. The only reason I put it down was to come up and read what you had to say. Thank you for your support!
