My book arrived Thursday and I am sitting on the sofa today reading it. It is a very good read and you feel like you are reading a novel, rather than a weight loss journal. Really enjoying it so far.

Do you think climbing trees is a good substitute for yoga?
This 83 year old lady is an inspiration:

and seems to swear by both, and it seems to have kept her very fit until she "stopped doing headstands as they hurt her neck. That was the same month she stopped climbing trees".
There must be a great deal of wellbeing achieved by being in touch with nature, climbing trees. Trusting the inner strength of the tree to carry your weight.
I'd say it is a great substitute and exercises many of the same muscles.
